Yuri Premerlani si diploma a pieni voti all’ISAD di Milano nel 1993; contemporaneamente agli studi cura la progettazione del negozio d’arredamento di famiglia. L’ottima tecnica di rappresentazione, espressa con schizzi prospettici, l’avvicina allo Studio Kuchel di St. Moritz dove si occupa del layout di diversi progetti, tra i quali la villa presso La Gorce Island di Miami. Nel 1999 si trasferisce per lavorare nello studio di David Ling a New York, nota firma internazionale nel campo dell’architettura; qui prende parte a diversi progetti tra i quali il negozio di Alberta Ferretti a Tokyo. Nel 2000, di ritorno da New York, apre lo studio di architettura d’interni e design Officine Creative a Chiavenna. Da Giugno 2002 cura la rubrica “progetti&posta” della rivista Gioia Casa. A novembre 2003 apre il suo secondo studio Officine Creative a Milano, in zona Tortona. Da ottobre 2005 è docente di progettazione e tecnica di rappresentazione all’Istituto Marangoni di Milano. Nel settembre 2012 collabora con lo studio di Paola Navone. Oltre a numerosi progetti (privati e pubblici) sul territorio italiano, negli ultimi anni la sua attività si è diretta anche all’estero (Londra, Parigi, Amsterdam, New York). Le sue consulenze spaziano dall’interior e industrial design alla direzione artistica, dall’illustrazione alla grafica, dal progetto esecutivo al concept. Importanti riviste e libri hanno pubblicato i suoi lavori.
Yuri Premerlani Yuri Premerlani graduated with distinction from ISAD (Instituto Superiore D’Architettura e Design) in Milan in 1993. During his period of studyng, he was responsible for Projects (Design and Planning) within the family Interior Furnishing Business. His excellent technique and the quality of his presentation was evident in his perspective sketches produced when associated with the Studio Kuchel in St Moritz, where he was involved in the ‘lay-out’ of a range of different projects, among them the villa in La Gorce Island at Miami. In 1999 he moved to New York to work at David Ling’s Studio, a company of international renown in the architecture field: whilst there he became involved in a variety of projects, and linked with Alberta Ferretti’s shop in Tokyo. He returned from New York in 2000 establishing his studio for interior architectural design, his ‘Officine Creative‘ in Chiavenna. Since June 2002 he has been responsible for the column ‘Progetti & Posta’ in the magazine ‘Gioia Casa’. In November 2003 he opened his second studio ‘Officine Creative’ in Milan, in the Tortona district. From October 2005 he is professor at Istituto Marangoni in Milan, teaching drawing techniques and project development. From September 2012 he works with Paola Navone’s Studio. In addition to working on numerous projects (public and private) throughout the italian territory, in the recent years his works are also based in foreign countries (London, Paris, Amsterdam, New York). His expertise rangers from interior and industrial design to art direction, from illustration to graphics, and from creation of the executive project to the concept. Important magazines and books have published his work.
